Kendrick Lamar continues to use his pop culture position to promote social change. The beloved rapper recently teamed up with Reebok for a new set of sneakers, and he's used them to send a message of peace over gang violence in his hometown of Compton.
As Complex reports, the sneakers prominently feature the colour blue on the left side and red on the left — a reference to the colours of rival gangs the Crips and the Bloods.
Adding to the visual message, each shoe features the word "neutral" on its inside tongue.
