Kaytranada released his incredibly versatile debut album 99.9% last week, and the Montreal producer has now treated bouncy instrumental cut "Lite Spots" to an equally enjoyable video.
Directed by Martin C. Pariseau, the clip sees Kaytranada hard at work in his garage building a robot. After bringing his invention to life, he takes his new mechanical friend on a trip around the West Coast, busting out their best dance moves in the street, at the bus stop and on the beach to the song's punchy beat.
99.9% is out now through XL. Watch the video for "Lite Spots" in the player below, and read Exclaim!'s newly published interview with Kaytranada here, where he reveals he has a wealth of unreleased material waiting in the wings with BADBADNOTGOOD, as well as Little Dragon.
