Every year at the tail-end of summer, a little bit of magic happens in Rouyn-Noranda, QC. Festival de Musique Émergente (FME) returns for its 21st edition in 2023, from August 31 to September 3 — and organizers have just unveiled the lineup details.
Karkwa, Elisapie, Les Louanges, Milk & Bone, Tess Parks, Heaven for Real, Hippie Hourrah, Vanille, myst milano., B.A.R.F., Nora Kelly Band, blesse, La Sécurité, Laurence-Anne, Thierry Larose, Phillippe Brach, N NAO, Philippe B, Rip Pop Mutant, Jodie Jodie Roger, Population II, ALIAS, Cedric Noel and more will take the stage at venues across the beautiful lakeside city as part of close to 100 performances.
Two types of festival passes are available this year: the Passeport extérieur - 7e Rue, which grants you access to all outdoor shows on that street from Thursday to Saturday for $55, and Passeport à la carte, which also gets you into a select number of venue concerts of your choice for $150. Both types of passes go on sale today at 4 p.m. ET via FME's website, with individual concert ticket sales to follow next Tuesday (July 25) at noon.
