Kanye West and Billie Eilish Reportedly in Talks to Headline Coachella 2022 (Unless It Gets Cancelled)

Looks like Kanye would perform on Sunday night while Eilish would take the stage Friday

It's been a rocky few years for Coachella (in that the festival hasn't actually happened in two years) and judging by the way things are heading right now, it feels unlikely that 2022 is gonna break that bad spell.

However! Nothing is certain just yet, and the festival appears to be moving along as if it's still happening. That includes booking its headliners, and as per THR, Coachella is currently deep in talks with Kanye West to headline the Festival's Sunday night.

Kanye would be the replacement for original headliner Travis Scott, who was removed following the deaths at Astroworld late last year. Frank Ocean was also supposed to play, but his appearance has been pushed to a 2023 headlining slot. Rage Against The Machine has dropped out entirely.

Billie Eilish is also reportedly in talks to headline Friday night. Eilish headlined the 2019 festival, which ended up being the last until (potentially) this year.
