"Girl you looks good, won't you vax that thing up?"

As vaccination rates help push us out of this pandemic, the potential of offline dating is also opening back up. Getting in on that action, Black dating site BLK has recruited New Orleans rapper Juvenile to remake his '99 hit "Back That Azz Up," urging singles to get vaxxed so they can safely get freaky. Now called "Vax That Thang Up," the redo also features verses from fellow staples of the NOLA hip-hop scene Mannie Fresh — who also produced the original version of the track — and Mia X.

With poeticism like "I love it when you hold me / eggplant emoji," "Vax That Thang Up" is pro-vaccination anthem all about the love and immunization. "The message is clear," BLK said in a statement, "dating is better in all ways once you're vaccinated."

The company added: "Black adults under the age of 40 are the most likely group to avoid the COVID-19 vaccination, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. Distrust of doctors and government, less access to vaccination centres and online misinformation each play a role. We hope this video is both entertaining and actionable."

If this can't convince people to roll up a sleeve, we're not sure what will.
