Things have been kind of weird between Lil Wayne and Birdman for the last several months, but the pair have apparently fully reconciled for a track with Mannie Fresh. Interestingly, though, the YMCMB love-in is a banger called "Hate."
The track follows Lil Wayne's several million dollar lawsuit against Cash Money and finds father-figure Birdman offering a few words in the intro and outro. Weezy later uses his signature flow on the track alongside host Mannie Fresh and verse contributor Juvenile.
Throughout, the team talk about talking shit, wishing a stroke on your foes, counting money and keeping your focus, as if having popped the world's biggest bottle of Prozac.
Fresh is proud of the reunion, which he notes is tied to a forthcoming, as-yet-untitled project he's due to release sometime in the future.
"I've put a lot of effort into making this track happen," Fresh said in a statement. "I've always been the liaison between these guys, they took my word and put their trust in me in bringing everyone together for this hot track. You definitely can expect more from this project I'm about to drop with Mass Appeal Records. This is just the foreplay, you can expect the eargasm later."
