Josh Homme may have his own iconic look as the frontman of Queens of the Stone Age, but he switched things up a little bit over the weekend in the spirit of Halloween. For a costume party hosted by his bandmate Troy Van Leeuwen in Los Angeles over the weekend, Homme went as the ever-serene, nature-painting Bob Ross.
Homme's ginger locks were transformed into, well, much bigger ginger locks, and he toted around a palette and paintbrush all evening.
Van Leeuwen and Homme were joined at the party by a number of bandmates and collaborators, including a Frankenstein's monster version of Eagles of Death Metal's Jesse Hughes and Post Pop Depression drummer Matt Helders, who showed up as Queen's Brian May.
Others in attendance included Savages' Jehnny Beth, The xx's Romy Croft, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs' Nick Zinner. Homme's wife and Distillers frontwoman Brody Dalle was also in attendance, of course, dressed as Slimer from Ghostbusters.
