Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy stepped outside of the band last year to collaborate with Mavis Staples and release his solo record Together At Last, and now he's announced a new run of solo shows.
Tweedy will make a number of not-always-on-the-map Canadian stops on the upcoming tour. It kicks off in Royal Oak, MI, and will then move through Canadian stops in Hamilton, Kingston, London, Ottawa, Montreal, Saint John and Wolfville. He'll then return stateside, wrapping up the string of shows in Saxapahaw, NC.
Tweedy has also revealed a brief European jaunt that will bring him to a couple of festivals, as well as dates in Utrecht, Antwerp and Oslo in September.
Tickets for all of the just-announced shows go on sale to the general public on February 9.
