This year's best-sounding bromance is sure to be that of Drake and performer ILOVEMAKONNEN. The latter, a 25-year-old singer, producer and rapper, had a nice career boost last month when Drizzy added some high-profile verses to his "Going Up on a Tuesday" anthem. Now, it appears that the Toronto rap softie has gone a step further and signed the artist.
Last night, ILOVEMAKONNEN and Drake's track was uploaded to iTunes, and simply renamed "Tuesday." The track comes with some new, very Drake-ish black and gold artwork, and is credited to OVO Sound and Warner Bros. Records.
Adding fuel to the idea that this is more than a one-off collaboration with the label, ILOVEMAKONNEN tweeted the word "goodnight" along with OVO Sound's label.
