The 92nd annual Academy Awards were handed out last night (February 9) in Hollywood, and Bong Joon-ho's Parasite proved to be the big winner.
The South Korean film took home prizes for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay and Best International Feature Film.
Despite going into the night with 11 nominations, Joker was largely shut out except for a Best Actor win by Joaquin Phoenix and Best Original Score by Hildur Guðnadóttir — the first woman to ever win the category.
In the other acting categories, Renée Zellweger won Best Actress for her performance in Judy, Laura Dern won Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Marriage Story and Brad Pitt won Best Supporting Actor for his role in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
