Thundercat has teamed with Tame Impala for a new song. You can hear the two get together for a psych-funk freakout on "No More Lies" alongside a visualizer.
Standing as the first new Thundercat song in three years, "No More Lies" finds the bassist Thundercat musing on his failures in a doomed relationship: "But it's not your fault, I'm just kind of ass."
"I've wanted to work with [Kevin Parker] since the very first Tame Impala album," Thundercat shared. "I feel that I knew that us working together would be special. I've been excited about this song for a long time and hope to create more with Kevin in the future."
Thundercat's most recent album remains the Grammy-winning It Is What It Is. Earlier this year, both Thundercat and Tame Impala appeared on a new album from Gorillaz.
