Ahead of sharing sophomore solo LP Shiver this October, Sigur Rós frontman Jónsi has rolled out another new track from the effort, this time with Elizabeth Fraser.
Jónsi and the Cocteau Twins vocalist collaborate on album cut "Cannibal." It arrives today alongside a video co-directed by the artist and Giovanni Ribisi, who had previously helmed the video for "Exhale."
"When Sigur Rós was starting, we were always compared to Cocteau Twins and I really didn't like that," Jónsi said in a statement. "I hated being compared to anybody. Then I got really into Cocteau Twins like two or three years ago. They're so good. I understood the comparison then."
As previously reported, Shiver will arrive October 2 via Krunk Records. Co-produced with PC Music leader A. G. Cook, the album also boasts a collaboration with Swedish pop titan Robyn.
