Grimes is showing off a massive brand new back tattoo that she's calling her "beautiful alien scars." She enlisted celebrity tattoo artist tweakt in collaboration with digital artist Nusi Quero to draw up the partially computer-generated massive back piece in white ink.
The artist unveiled her latest body mod on Instagram last night (April 11), saying, "Don't have a good pic cuz it hurts too much and I need to sleep haha, and it'll be red for a few wks, but gna be beautiful alien scars."
Grimes and her collaborators did share a couple of snaps of the work, though since the art was done in white ink, it's difficult to tell what it will actually look like until the swelling goes down.
Never one to shy away from testing the limits of the human body, Grimes' new ink is her latest in a growing collection of body mods. Up next, she says she plans to get her partner Elon Musk's Neuralink brain chip installed, and we're still waiting to hear more about her plans to undergo that outlandish experimental eye surgery.
