Grimes and Elon Musk's son X AE A-XII may have been the subject of countless memes about his name last year, but the kid is already earning a name for himself in the music world — so who's laughing now, folks?
Ahead of baby X's first birthday in May, Grimes has evidently taught her offspring the basics of electronic music composition, as seen in a new video posted to Instagram.
"Prob an accident but TBH he played a super fire set just now," the artist wrote in the post.
It might help that the infant is working with some pretty professional equipment — a $1,200 USD Teenage Engineering OP-1 Portable Synthesizer to be exact — on which baby X is seen making a rudimentary loop.
"Did you make a loop? You're so smart!" Grimes says in the clip.
So now, we're just waiting for X's new album to drop.
Although he may be set up to be one of the youngest professional musicians on record, another younger performer already beat him to the punch by recording an album in utero.
