It's better to burn out than to fade away: Grimes and rumoured girlfriend, American whistleblower and activist Chelsea Manning, have reportedly broken up, according to Page Six.
The publication's sources say the pair "had been breaking up for a while," after it was revealed that they had supposedly "U-Hauled it" to live in Austin together back in March, following the publication of that explosive Vanity Fair cover story.
Journalist Devin Gordon had travelled to interview Grimes at her Austin home, when it was revealed that she mothered a second child with her now-ex, Tesla billionaire/megadouche Elon Musk. At the time, Gordon reported hearing "the voice of a woman pleading" with the baby to shush, though the mystery lady was never identified.
Grimes' extended family, meanwhile, continues to grow, as it was recently reported that Musk had secretly fathered a set of twins with Shivon Zilis — an executive at Musk's artificial intelligence company Neuralink — around the same time Grimes and Musk brought their second child into the world via surrogate.
Earlier this year, Manning dragged Musk for sharing numerous transphobic memes on Twitter, seemingly coinciding with his then-planned takeover of the social media platform (and obnoxious free-speech campaigning), as well as Manning's relationship with his ex.
"The one thing I will say is: he around that time definitely seemed transphobic, and rumor or speculation aside, that's off-limits. I'm going to respond to it. Any transphobia in a transphobic environment is not OK," Manning told The Daily Beast in June.
She also trolled Musk back in April with the meme below. Here's hoping her split from Grimes doesn't slow her roll!
