This year marks the 10th anniversary of prog-punks Fucked Up's concept album David Comes to Life. To celebrate that beloved 2011 album, the band will be reissuing the record and hitting the road in early 2022.

The 2-LP anniversary edition of David Comes to Life will be out on December 10 through Matador. It will be pressed on "lightbulb-yellow" vinyl and is now available to pre-order. The album's 18-song tracklist has been preserved, but there's a new album cover.

Additionally, Fucked Up have also shared a B-side called "The Truest Road," which comes from an upcoming rarities compilation due out later this year. They've also put the David Comes to Life companion album David's Town on streaming services for the first time, following its previous vinyl-only release.

David's Town features Fucked Up cosplaying as an array of fake bands from the fictional British town of Byrdesdale Spa in 1977. Hear it at the bottom of this page.

As for the tour dates, Fucked Up will be playing 10 shows over the course of 11 days in early January, including Canadian stops in Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto.
