The Four Winds Music Festival is returning to the Durham, ON, area for its sophomore edition this summer from July 12 to 14, and organizers have detailed the weekend's festivities.
Ontario's own Bahamas and Great Lake Swimmers are due to headline alongside Halifax-based singer-songwriter Joel Plaskett. A bevy of Canadian acts, including Daniel Romano's Outfit, Terra Lightfoot, Logan Staats, Quique Escamilla, Jerry Leger & the Situation, Alysha Brilla, Donné Roberts, Ontarians, Espanola and more will provide support throughout the weekend.
Performances will take place once again at the Riverstone Retreat grounds, where festivalgoers can also partake in yoga sessions, children's games, drum circles, African dance and cooking classes, as well as guided tours of the campus.
"I am honoured to be presenting the Four Winds Music Fest for the second year, a process that began in August 2023," co-founder Ariana Dalie wrote in a press release. "We are all about recreating the magic we experienced in our inaugural year, and we are thrilled about the incredible lineup of talented Canadian musicians who will be performing this year."
Weekend and single-day passes and camping permits will go on sale for early bird prices on February 2 at the fest's official website, where you can also find further scheduling and lineup information.
