While we haven't had an album from Swedish sister act First Aid Kit since 2014's Stay Gold, the pair are coming back into our lives with a new single.
The song is called "It's a Shame," and as could be expected, it's a shinning bit of folk-rock pop.
"We went to Los Angeles last spring and spent five weeks there writing," sisters Klara and Johanna Söderberg explained in a joint statement. "It was a tough time for the both of us. We were in this beautiful sunny place, but mostly felt sad and lonely. 'It's A Shame' is a song about the emptiness and desperation you feel after a relationship has come to an end. How you will go to great lengths just to numb the pain and feel less lonely."
Listen for yourself below.
As of yet, there is no word of a First Aid Kit album, however.
