Face To Face Reunite... Sort Of

BY Dave SynyardPublished Jan 31, 2008

Though SoCal punks Face to Face called it quits four years ago, they've given fans at least one more opportunity to see them before they drive that final nail in the coffin (though, who the hell knows with the reunion bug hitting so rigorously these days). Unfortunately, the band's only show at the moment will be at the Bamboozle Left in Cali.

According to a posting called "We're back!...sort of" on the band's blog, the line-up will consist of Trever Keith, Scott Shiflett, Chad Yaro and Pete Parada, who will perform on Saturday, April 5 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Irvine, California.

At the moment, Face to Face don't plan on launching a full-scale reunion tour, but for those who can't make it to the one announced performance the band also stated there are "more to be announced soon," which are apparently select festival dates in the U.S. and other parts of the world.

In the meantime, front-man Trever Keith has announced that he will release a new solo album titled Melancholics Anonymous, which is said to pick up where FTF's Ignorance is Bliss left off. Additionally, Trever will be performing solo gigs as of March 8.
