50 Cent is working on another TV series, apparently, and he's tapped Eminem to join the cast. In a kismet casting decision, Slim Shady will play the role of notorious Detroit teen-turned-FBI-informant White Boy Rick in BMF — which is inspired by the true story of influential criminals the Black Mafia Family and set in the late 1980s. He'll join famous co-stars Snoop Dogg, Kash Doll and La La Anthony.
According to Deadline's description, BMF centres around brothers Demetrius "Big Meech" and Terry "Southwest T" Flenory, highlighting their vision beyond the drug trade and into the world of hip-hop; their steadfast family loyalty as the cornerstone of the partnership — Big Meech the charismatic leader, Southwest T the businessman — and the cause of their eventual estrangement.
This will be Eminem's first television stint since he played himself on Entourage in 2010. Recently, the rapper teamed up with Nas for a song on his new album King's Disease II.
Also: yeah, this is 50 Cent's other TV show. In June, he posted on Instagram in celebration of Bill Cosby's release from prison — but primarily to promote his IMDb TV series For Life. The post, which read "these hoes be tripping," was promptly deleted. Either way, his take on the situation was seriously uncalled for.
