Dua Lipa is being sued by a Florida reggae band who claim that her massive 2020 single "Levitating" — already a controversial song due to its now-removed DaBaby feature — rips off their 2017 track "Live Your Life."

Artikal Sound System names Lipa and her label Warner Records in the suit, claiming that they're owed damages plus profits they could have made off the success of "Levitating."

"Levitating" peaked at No. 2 and spent 41 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making it the No. 1 song of 2021. It's also the longest-running Top 10 hit by a lead female artist, so in the eyes of Artikal Sound System, they've been shafted pretty majorly.

You can listen to both songs below and decide for yourself if the suit holds any water, but it's pretty undeniable that the chorus of "Levitating" sounds a lot like the chorus of "Live Your Life."
