Ahead of delivering sophomore full-length Stumpwork on October 21 through 4AD, UK post-punks Dry Cleaning have expanded their tour plans to include a handful of shows in Canada, as well as more US dates and several stops in Europe.
After a trek around Japan, Australia and New Zealand late this year, the group will kick off a new North American leg with a pair of shows in Montreal and Toronto, on January 10 and 11, respectively. After a few shows south of the border, they'll head to Vancouver's Rickshaw Theatre on January 17, making their way south again for the remainder of the month. From there, they'll head to the UK and Europe, wrapping up in Antwerp on April 1.
A presale for tickets for the newly announced dates (seen in bold below) is available to mailing list subscribers as of this Friday, September 9, at 3 p.m. ET. Tickets go on sale to the general public on September 14 at 10 a.m. local time.
The band's newest single was written shortly after the sessions for debut album New Long Leg. Titled "Gary Ashby," it follows the tale of a beloved family tortoise lost in lockdown. Check that out below.
