Like a tornado, these southern sons suck you in with their hard-hitting music, which bares no bones in telling it like it is in their home and native land below the Mason-Dixon line. This is the Truckers' first live recording and it's a great introduction for the uninitiated of what these five Alabama rockers are all about. Recorded over the course of two nights in Athens, Georgia during the Dirty South tour in 2004, this DVD is best listened to real loud. The 22 songs include a five-song encore that ends with the Jim Carroll cover "People Who Died." (New West, www.newwestrecords.com)
