Drake Teases "Graceful Exit" from Music

A snippet of an interview with Lil Yachty sees the rapper appear to entertain the idea of retirement

Is this the real life? Is Drake spinning a fantasy? In a forthcoming interview with Lil Yachty, the rapper-turned-prankster may or may not have just teased his plan to retire from music.

Speaking with his "best friend" in a snippet of an interview set to published in full tomorrow (February 24) — inexplicably, for his sunglasses company Future Mood Studios — Lil Yatchy sits pensively across from Drake as the 6 God muses about his "graceful exit."

"I think I'm at the point now where I just wanna, like, I feel like maybe we talked about this the other day," Drake says in the clip. "But I feel like I'm kind of introducing the concept in my mind of a graceful exit."

It remains unclear if we're talking an exit from music, an exit from livestreaming, an excretory exit, or if the artist born Aubrey Drake Graham actually plans to take a graceful step back from the industry in a permanent manner. Of course, it would be far from the first time in history that a rapper has vowed to retire only to return basically right away.

Watch the interview excerpt below and tune in tomorrow for the full scoop on Drizzy's future shuffleboard career.
