A week out from unleashing new album For All the Dogs, Drake has shared a new collaborative single with SZA. You can hear the two team up on "Slime You Out" in the player below.
"Slime You Out" marks Drake and SZA's first collaboration. The single was co-produced by BNYX, Drake, Noel Cadastre and Noah "40" Shebib, and the rapper had teased its arrival on Instagram by sharing a photo of Halle Berry getting slimed at the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards. Earlier this year, BNYX and Shebib contributed to Drake's single "Search & Rescue."
Appearing on "Mr. Right Now" from 21 Savage and Metro Boomin's 2020 release Savage Mode II, Drake rapped about how he once "used to date SZA back in '08," prompting SZA to later clarify that she and Drake were seeing one another in 2009. At the time, she wrote on Twitter, "I just didn't want anybody thinking anything underage or creepy was happening . Completely innocent . Lifetimes ago ."
As previously reported, For All the Dogs arrives next Friday, September 22. Its cover art, seen above, was illustrated by Drake's son Adonis. The album follows last year's Honestly, Nevermind and Her Loss, Drake's team-up with 21 Savage.
SZA will soon tour North America behind last year's SOS, with a Toronto date set for October 4.
