Fall is officially over. And, mercifully, instead of going straight into a long, dark winter, DijahSB is here to rewind us back into the "SummerTime" with their new single.
"SummerTime" follows "Dance Like This," which the Toronto MC released in August. Produced by Tim Randolph, the new track takes more of a laidback, soothing approach that recalls a low-key evening soaking in the golden hour rather than a bumpin' night beneath a disco ball.
"I wanted this song to embody the feeling of summer," Dijah shared in a release. "We are about to get hit with some cold weather out here in Toronto, but I want this song to remind people of the good times and weather that the summer and sunshine bring. With the lyrics and smooth, soothing production, I hope you catch that vibe."
Earlier this year, the prolific rapper released 2022 the EP as a follow-up to 2020 the Album, with critically acclaimed Head Above the Waters and Tasty Raps Vol. 1 in between.
