This Friday (September 18), Vancouver world fusion collection Delhi 2 Dublin will release their latest continent-crossing album, We're All Desi. Before it arrives via Westwood Recordings, Exclaim! has the premiere of the full stream.
Delhi 2 Dublin are known for their signature mix of bhangra and Celtic music. Those influences are present here, but even within the first song (the banging "Voodoo Selekta"), they also tap into EDM, rock and even a little chiptune. Elsewhere on the eclectic 11-song album, the Funk Hunters contribute to "Fool's Gold" and "Strumph," while "East Van" is a hip-hop tribute to Vancouver's lower-income neighbourhood.
