Celtic-Punjabi pop outfit Delhi 2 Dublin have been known to host some pretty animated live performances. So it's fitting then that the band have been turned into cartoon characters in their new music video for Turn Up the Stereo track "Code Red."
Created by husband and wife artistic duo Nelson "Dedos" Garcia and Xochitl Garcia-Leal (a.k.a. Nomadic Alternatives), the video "is a modern re-telling of an epic battle between good and evil," and finds the Delhi 2 Dublin crew seeking to rescue their astral warrior monkey, Hanu, from the clutches of their arch-nemesis, Dr. Ravana.
The clip is part of a larger trans-media scavenger hunt the band launched this past June involving social media, trading cards and real-life interactions over at FindHanu.com.
But if you're too lazy to take part in the game, sit back and relax by watching the inventive animatic video in the player below. Don't forget to catch the band as they tour across North America this fall, and look out for their upcoming Turn Up the Stereo Remixes Volume 1 EP to arrive soon.
