Late last month, Dave Grohl accepted a drum-off challenge from 10-year-old Nandi Bushell, who impressed the Foo Fighters frontman and fans alike with her cover of "Everlong." After Bushell's beatkeeping took round one honours, Grohl has returned with his second round surprise.
Making good on his promise of "something special," Grohl has penned an entire theme song for Bushell. Playing guitar, bass and drums — with an assist from daughters "The Grohlettes" on backing vocals — Grohl proclaims, "She got the power / She got the soul / Gonna save the world with her rock and roll."
Grohl notes that "every superhero needs a theme song," and you can hear Bushell's below. The 10-year-old's viral rock heroism has also seen her earn the praise of Tom Morello and Metallica's Kirk Hammett in 2020.
Earlier this year, Grohl revealed that a new Foo Fighters album was on the way, following 2017's Concrete and Gold.
