Earlier this month, a 10-year-old British girl named Nandi Bushell challenged Dave Grohl to a drum battle, and now, the Foo Fighters frontman has responded with a new performance, taking on "Dead End Friends" by Them Crooked Vultures to up the ante.

Seated at his daughter Harper's drum kit, Grohl addresses Bushell's challenge, saying he has received "at least a hundred texts" alerting him to Nandi's prowess on the skins in her lively cover of "Everlong."

"Challenge accepted," he wrote. "Haven't played these songs in a loooooong time.....thanks for the inspiration!!! Your move!!!"

Bushell has received the response and recorded her reaction to the video in a new post as well.

"This is UNREAL! I can't believe Dave Grohl actually accepted my drum battle, Thank you! Now it's my turn to learn 'Dead End Friends' by Them Crooked Vultures," she wrote in a tweet.
