Danzig Speaks Out in Support of Trump's Muslim Ban

"I've been turned away from Canada and other places before. Where's my protest? Where's my parade?"

They say there's no such thing as bad publicity, but Danzig has pushed the limits of that maxim with his latest comments. The original Misfits frontman has been making the rounds to promote his new album Black Laden Crown, and in doing so, he's let it slip that he's in support of Donald Trump's controversial ban on immigration from predominantly Muslim countries.

Speaking with the Los Angeles Times, Danzig spoke out in support of Trump's anti-Muslim stance. "It's really not a travel ban," he said. "When you walk into the country, we want to see who you are and what you're doing."

He took things a step stupider by making it about himself. "Well, when I go to every country right now, they look at me and they see whether I can come in or not. And I've been turned away from Canada and other places before. Where's my protest? Where's my parade?"

Lest you think Danzig is some sort of alt-right troll, however, the rock frontman made it clear that he's a centrist. "I might be conservative on some issues, and some issues I'm really liberal," he said. "I'm pro-abortion and I'm pro-Planned Parenthood. But I don't think Planned Parenthood should be selling baby parts like a chop shop in Brooklyn, OK?"

So there you have it — Danzig has lots of opinions about lots of things.
