In June, Glenn Danzig was adamant that his reunion with the Misfits would not last longer than the touring contract's legal requirements, and a new interview finds him staying true to the claim.

As Metal Injection points out, Danzig confirmed that the Misfits reunion would not go beyond the band's headlining show at Madison Square Garden in New York on October 19, which will also feature Rancid and the Damned. It's the final date on their reunion itinerary.

Danzig made the reveal while on the red carpet at the premiere of Rob Zombie's 3 From Hell. When asked about future plans for the reunion, he replied, "No more Misfits shows, except MSG."

The quote finds Danzig reiterating similar sentiments he shared with radio host Full Metal Jackie back in June.

"With the Misfits thing, we just kind of got back together and just decided we'd do it here or there, and just not make it a grind kind of tour," he said. "We just want to make each event special. We're not gonna do many more. I know we just announced Seattle and Denver, but I'm pretty sure there's not gonna be many more of them."

The Misfits' September 14 show in Seattle marked their 10th reunion concert since getting back together in 2016
