Toronto rapper D-Sisive just snagged a Juno nomination for Best Rap Recording, and after some celebrating he hit the studio to record a couple new tracks.
In a press release, he stated: "I spent the day in celebration mode. Congratulation texts/e-mails. Sneaky Dees. Heroin. Disco dancing. Bar room brawling. Giving my self stitches, fixing up my gash courtesy of Bruce Cockburn's butterfly knife..."
But when things calmed down a bit he spent the night recording a couple new cuts, which you can hear now. The first is aptly titled "Victory Parade," while the second is a cover of Naughty by Nature's "Ghetto Bastard." Both new recordings were produced by Muneshine.
If that's not enough new D-Sisive for you, check out his new video for "The Invisible Man," from his latest record Run with the Creeps.
