Last June, pop icon Cyndi Lauper announced the Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour. (What else would you call it?) The initial North American dates of the run included Canadian stops in Montreal and Toronto last October, but she has now announced additional concerts for 2025 — including another Toronto appearance and one in Vancouver this summer.
The new slate of North American performances begins on July 15 in Buffalo, NY, after Lauper makes the rounds overseas in Australia and Japan in April. She'll return to Toronto in the first half of the stint on the road, this time playing Budweiser Stage on July 27.
From there, the singer-songwriter will weave her way through the US ahead of coming back to Canada at the tour's tail end for a gig at Rogers Arena on August 21. The farewell trek is currently scheduled to wrap up (for good) with a two-night stand in Los Angeles, CA, on August 29 and 30.
