Tributes and donations have been pouring in since the tragic Humboldt Broncos bus crash claimed the lives of 16 people earlier this month. Now, the Country Thunder music festival has announced plans to hold a tribute concert in Saskatoon later this month.
The event is scheduled to take place at the SaskTel Centre on April 27, and the lineup of performers will be announced later this morning.
UPDATE (04/18, 12 p.m. EDT): Country Thunder has announced the show's lineup, which will include Dallas Smith, Brett Kissel, Gord Bamford, Chad Brownlee, Jess Moskaluke and Hunter Brothers.
Tickets for the event are slated to go on sale today at 12 p.m. local time, and the money raised by ticket sales will be donated to the families of the Humboldt Broncos players.
