The Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) is running from August 18 to September 4 at Toronto's Exhibition Place grounds this summer, and the lineup of artists performing the Bandshell Stage has just been revealed.
Kardinal Offishall, Choclair and Haviah Mighty will perform the CNE Bandshell in celebration of 50 years of hip-hop, while headliners Dionne Warwick, Amanda Marshall, Jann Arden, Kim Mitchell, Dwayne Gretzky, Stephen Ridley, Shafqat Amanat Ali, LOLO / MICO, A Flock of Seagulls, the Washboard Union, the Sheepdogs, Dr. Jay, Marcia Griffiths, William Prince and Brett Kissel will also perform over the 17-day concert lineup.
In addition to musical performances, the CNE will also host the Drag EXtravaganza starring Canada's Drag Race Tynomi Banks and featuring Mo Heart, Ivory Towers, Jan Sport and more on August 29. See the full schedule of performances below.
The CNE and S2BN Entertainment have also extended the run of the Pink Floyd Exhibition: Their Mortal Remains — taking place at the Better Living Centre, adjacent to the Bandshell Stage — to coincide with the end of the Ex (September 4).
The concerts are free to attend with CNE admission, with advance tickets (purchased before August 18) running for $20, and regular admission priced at $25. Find more info on that here.
