When Corb Lund announced his upcoming album, Cabin Fever, the Alberta country singer shared a twangy new track called "Gettin' Down on the Mountain." Now, the single has received its own music video.
The clip, directed and shot by Fish Griwkowsky and edited by Justin Lachance, takes a literal approach to the subject matter by taking viewers from the top of a snowy mountain down to a city.
Lund explained in a statement, "We shot this one just before the snow melt in northern Alberta. Something me and my buddy Fish came up with. You likely won't see it on TV because is has 'shit' over and over in the choruses. And the beard is real, in answer to numerous inquiries."
The video evidently inspired Cabin Fever's chilly artwork.
