Toronto hardcore unit Cold Shoulder recently took a trip to Granada Hills, CA, to record their debut album, but before Self War arrives later this year, Exclaim! is giving you a preview of things to come with the video premiere of "Braindead."
The track will appear on the album, and it features additional vocals courtesy of Nick Jett, who also produced and engineered the upcoming record.
As for the video itself, it captures the band cranking out the gut-punching song in a dark, windowless garage. The performance footage gets spliced together with jumpy scenes of a disturbing subplot, in which a young man is chased down, beaten and burned alive in a makeshift coffin.
