Truly coming into their own since joining the Metal Blade roster within the past few months, Montreal groove metallers Barn Burner live up to their name. Amusing and animated while still delivering the metal, these hirsute youngsters brought the party and ensured it had a life of its own. Regaling the crowd with tunes from their recently released full-length Bangers, this wily quartet casually commanded attention while instinctively rockin' the fuck out. Embracing every cliché pose, they even invented a few new ones without ever seeming tacky or contrived. Moreover, Barn Burner proved that you can still have one hell of a good time while bashing brain cells.
