Following some teasing the other week, Childish Gambino and Rihanna have confirmed their upcoming film Guava Island is premiering at Coachella this weekend. But if you won't be there at the festival IRL, fret not — the film will be premiering via the Coachella livestream here on the internet as well.
The news was confirmed today via YouTube, which will be premiering the film as part of its Coachella livestream on Saturday (April 13). This is the same date teased by Donald Glover in his recent Guava Island ads and the same day he will perform at Coachella as Childish Gambino.
So if you want to watch the film this weekend, simply head to the Coachella YouTube channel over here. The livestream kicks off on Friday (April 12) and run until Sunday (April 14).
In addition to YouTube streaming Coachella this weekend, it will also livestream its second weekend on April 19 to 21.
As previously reported, fan-shot footage of the Guava Island trailer emerged in November last year. The project also involves director Hiro Murai, who collaborated with Glover on his Atlanta series and his video for last year's single "This Is America."
