One of Exclaim!'s defining artists, Change of Heart, are about to release their first new album in 27 years, In the Wreckage, via Yeah Right! Records. To celebrate, they'll take the new material to Toronto's newest stage for an album release party.

Rob Taylor, Damon Richardson, Bernard Maiezzia and Ian Blurton will perform the group's first show since 2017 at Geary Avenue's Sound Garage on April 26. They'll find support from Bonnie Trash and Tricky Woo's Andrew Dickson and his "guitar/keyboard/film multimedia experience."

Tickets are available starting Thursday (January 23) through DICE for $25. Tickets will run you $30 at the door.

This show marks the fourth on the Collective Concerts-run new venue's 2025 calendar, following Chris Brown & Kate Fenner on February 27 and Chris Forsyth, Douglas McCombs and Mikel Patrick Avery's BASIC on March 22. Samantha Crain remains the only artist booked for the summer thus far with a July 24 show.

Not much else is known about In the Wreckage. Back in 2023, Blurton teased the effort, sharing via Twitter, "Finished up final mixes on new Change of Heart record [with] co-conspirator Rob Taylor last night. Had such a great time making this record, everyone who was ever involved with COH are included, 15 in all. Was great reconnecting with everyone and their contributions rule..."

At the time, the vocalist-guitarist denied that the record would result in any live performances, but here we are. Check out the poster below.
