Chance the Rapper cruised through the set of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night (September 25), and he brought Toronto's own Daniel Caesar in tow.
The pair debuted a previously unreleased song, opening with simple stripped-down guitar by Caesar beneath Chance's verses about staying grounded in God and his daughter. From there, it blossoms into a full-band affair, complete with drums, keys, bass, back-up singers and a trumpet.
It's a touching tribute to family and a thoughtful reflection on the rapper's newfound fame — something Caesar should likely understand soon.
Watch them debut the gorgeous untitled track down below.
