Vic Mensa is set to release to first full-length in six years. Victor is out September 15 through Roc Nation, and the single "Blue Eyes" is streaming now.

The album was largely produced by Mensa himself, and executive produced by BongoByTheWay. "This album is a story of redemption; trial and triumph, pain and glory," Mensa said in a statement. "It was forged from the rubble of a bad crash, literally and metaphorically, and follows my journey into spirituality, a return to Chicago, a return to Ghana and a rediscovery of myself."

As for the new single "Blue Eyes," the rapper explained, "The song 'Blue Eyes' is one of the most personal I've ever made and illustrates the impact of European beauty standards on the mind of the African, using my experience and that of my aunt who recently passed from the effects of skin bleaching."

The album includes recent singles "$WISH" (with G-Eazy and Chance the Rapper) and "STRAWBERRY LOUIS VUITTON" (featuring Thundercat and Maeta). "Eastside Girl" (with Ty Dolla $ign) appears as a bonus track.

Victor is available to pre-order here. This is his first solo full-length since 2017's The Autobiography.
