A Canadian man who bit a 14-year-old girl's breast during a Green Day concert in Portland, OR, last month has been sentenced to a month in prison for the incident.

Joel Dauncey, 34, of Vancouver pleaded no contest Monday (September 11) to misdemeanour harassment of a sexual or intimate body part, the Associated Press reports. An additional charge for third-degree sex abuse was dismissed as part of Dauncey's plea agreement.

Court documents note that the teenager was at the concert with her mother on August 2 at the city's Moda Center. In a probable cause affidavit, the girl said she was dancing when Dauncey leaned over and bit her right breast.

The affidavit notes that an arena employee witnessed the bite take place and that Dauncey had been cut off from purchasing alcohol at the venue. Dauncey told investigators he does not remember the incident.

Along with 30 days in prison, Dauncey was sentenced to 11 months probation and ordered to have no future contact with the victim.
