Broken Social Scene to Perform 'You Forgot It in People' in Full at Field Trip Festival

You Forgot It in People was the breakthrough album for both Broken Social Scene and Arts & Crafts, and the band have been revisiting the 2002 album as part of their label's 10th anniversary celebrations. Following a recent short story contest inspired by its songs, the band have announced plans to perform the album in full this month.

They had already confirmed plans to perform at Field Trip Music & Arts Festival, the Arts & Crafts shindig taking place on June 8 at Toronto's Fort York and Garrison Common. But now Arts & Crafts revealed in an announcement, "BSS has announced it will perform all of seminal sophomore record, You Forgot It In People, as part of its one-night-only return from hiatus."

As previously reported, BSS went on hiatus back in 2011.

It turns out that calling this reunion "one-night-only" isn't entirely truthful, since the band will perform with Feist on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon this Thursday (June 6). Of course, the band also teamed up with Years in the studio for the recent collaborations album X.
