Bonobo has announced his return in the form of a new album titled Fragments, which he will take on a world tour beginning early next year.
The artist born Simon Green has enlisted numerous collaborators for the record. Jamila Woods, Joji, Kadhja Bonet, Jordan Rakei, O'Flynn and Miguel Atwood-Ferguson all contribute. Described as a "series of 12 sonic affirmations," the record is due to arrive on January 14 via Ninja Tune.
"I remembered all over again how much I loved crowds and movement and people connecting with each other," Green said of recording the album. Fragments marks Green's first full-length release since 2017's Migration.
Today, Green shares the album's lead single "Rosewood," which arrives with its own Neil Krug-created visualizer. Krug also made the Fragments album art, which can be seen above.
Green will take his new material on the road next February, when he commences the North American leg of his upcoming world tour. It'll all kick off in Nashville on February 18, before Green works his way north of the border for performances in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver in March.
