Montreal's Smokes are ramping up to release their debut album in 2015, and Exclaim.ca has got the premiere of the first single "Body Heat."
It's a slow-burning scorcher, starting off leisurely but exploding into a climax of hypnotizing riffs and strangled vocals — despite clocking in at just over two minutes.
As for the title of the track, it's an appropriate one given that the band describe their raucous sound as one that blends their "penchant for the dramatic" with "a desire to sweat profusely."
