Blink-182 Are Playing with a Bunch of Black Metal Bands in Norway

Even after bringing their brand of pop punk to the masses for over 20 years, Blink-182 haven't given a performance in Norway before. In a weird turn of events, the radio-ready rockers will play their first Norwegian show alongside some of black metal's finest at Halden's Tons of Rock festival.

As part of the two-day fest, Blink will line up alongside the likes of Emperor, who are celebrating their 1997 LP Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk, along with Satyricon and Taake. Candlemass, Sodom and Sabaton are also set to perform.

Though it remains to be seen whether Mark, Matt and Travis will don corpse paint in tribute to the country's rich metal history, we've saved you the trouble of visualizing what that would look like above.

Blink-182 released their seventh studio LP California earlier this year. Learn five noteworthy facts about the world's biggest punk band here.
