As they gear up for their coast-to-coast Canadian tour kicking off early next month, Big Wreck have announced the details of their forthcoming six-track EP Pages, due November 24 through via new label home, Sonic Unyon.
Teaming up with friend and producer Nick Raskulinecz, vocalist Ian Thornley began work on the group's next studio album at the start of 2023. Eighteen songs came from the band's sessions at Noble Street Studios in Toronto, and they opted instead to release the tracks in a series of EPs, starting with Pages.
"These days, with attention spans where they are and demands on people's time being what they are, I want to believe that smaller servings lead to the entire collection being heard," Thornley shared in a statement.
"Ian is a monster writer, a monster player, and gave us all so much to work with here," added Raskulinecz. "My job was to make sure we got the best version of the band in the performance of these songs in the studio. We got that, and more."
