Arctic Monkeys have shared a video for the new single "There'd Better Be a Mirrorball" from their forthcoming album The Car.
The song is a swelling, cinematic anthem, continuing with the piano-driven swagger of 2018's Tranquility Base Hotel + Casino but embracing retro strings that sound closer to crooning frontman Alex Turner's work with the Last Shadow Puppets than usual Arctic Monkeys fare.
The accompanying video captures the retro '60s/'70s vibe of the song, bringing lots of style to some otherwise fairly simple shots of a recording session. It was directed by Turner himself.
Watch it below. The Car is out October 21 through Domino.
